Meiyang Chang is an actor, a singer of Chinese descent, and a television host who came into limelight with the singing reality show 'Indian Idol 3' (2007). Meiyang received his dentist degree from V.S. Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore. Chang portrayed the character of Zing in his debut Bollywood movie 'Badmaash Company' (2010), for which he won the Stardust Award for Best Supporting Actor. He was the winner of television reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4' (2010). Meiyang has also played roles in the films 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' (2015) and 'Sultan' (2016). Some of the music projects of Chang are 'Tu To Na Ayi', 'Kuch Dino Se', 'Kya Yahi Pyar Hai - The Unwind Mix', 'Move On','Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si - Party Mix', and 'Saara Zamana'. Meiyang is the host of many television shows such as 'Indian Idol 4'(2008),'Apsara Awards' (2009), 'The Chair' (2010), 'Indian Television Academy Awards' (2014), and 'IIFA Madrid' (2016). He is an actor in one episode of TV series 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui'(2014). He was the guest singer in one episode of reality show 'Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega' (2014). Currently, he is a co-host of the first season of singing reality show 'Rising Star' along with Raghav Juyal.
