About Rising Star 2017:
Rising Star 2017 is a singing reality Show that will be broadcasted on Colors TV channel as a result of auditions of the singer contestants. It is India's first live singing competition show whose first season hosts are Meiyang Chang and Raghav Juyal. The viewers can vote live for the contestant they like via Colors TV App that can be downloaded for free on iOS and Android mobiles.
Rising Star Judges
Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Monali Thakur are the judges of Rising Star 2017. Shankar Mahadevan is a music composer and a well-known playback singer who has won three National Awards for Best Male Playback Singer and one National Award for Best Music Director. Diljit Dosanjh is a famous Punjabi singer and a film actor who has won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his role in the movie 'Udta Punjab' (2016). Monali Thakur is a famous playback singer and an actress who won Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the song 'Sawaar Loon' that she had sung for the movie 'Lootera' (2013). The minimum age required to participate in this singing competition show is six years so even the child singers can show their talent.Rising Star 2017 Contestants Names:
After the auditions of Rising Star, some very talented singer contestants have been Selected who will now further compete to get live votes from the show viewers. The names of some of the contestants are-:
1. Qawal Group from Lucknow - Age Group (24-56 Years).2. Murtikar from Mumbai (Age 59 Years).3. Singer Sisters from Bikaner, Rajasthan - Age 10 Years & 12 Years.4. Nisha Shravan from Delhi- Age 19 years.
